Interim Management
As a member of the ICMCI, the worldwide association for quality assurance in business consulting, the BDU is exclusively authorized in Germany to award the internationally recognized title "Management Consultant CMC / BDU". This title refers to the individual consultant. Recertification is necessary every three years.
In order to obtain this certification annually, the consultant has to demonstrate his professional experience, as well as project success and expertise. The management consultant must convince his customers as well as qualified colleagues within his field.
In addition the "BDU" indicates that the management consultant is a permanent employee, managing director or owner of a management consultancy as a member of the BDU. The consultant will meet special demands with regards to quality of advice and professional principles. The title is awarded after a personal examination concerning the qualification of the management consultant and ensuring that his knowledge is up to date. The candidate presents project examples to the CMC Examination Board and has to answer their questions
